Get the Support You Need for Financial Aid

If you need help filling out a financial aid application for your student, don't hesitate to reach out for support. Start by contacting your student's school counselor to inquire about financial aid events. Many schools offer campus-wide events on nights or weekends, or "office hours" during the school day where financial help is available. If these options don't work for you, Pivot offers financial aid advisors who can guide you and your student through the entire process. To book an event for your organization or to request a financial aid speaker, contact Veronica Lawrence.

Texas New Graduation Requirement

Starting from the 2021-2022 school year, students must complete one of the following actions to graduate according to the Texas Education Code:

*Note: In some cases, students and parents can choose to decline the graduation requirement by submitting a signed opt-out form to their school counselor. However, they can still complete a financial aid application if they change their mind. This new requirement helps students access financial aid and plan for their education after high school.
